【摘要】:Thepurposeofthistestistomeasuretheairpermeanceofflexiblesheetorrigidpanel-typematerials.Theresultsofthistestmaybeusefulindeterminingsuitabilityofthatmaterialasacomponentofanairretardersystem.Thismethoddoesnotaddresstheinstalledairleakageperformanceofbuildingmaterials.Theinstalledperformanceofairretardermaterialsandairretardersystemsinlow-riseframedwallconstructionisaddressedinSpecificationE1677.1.1Thistestmethodistodeterminetheairpermeanceofbuildingmaterialsatvariouspressuredifferentialswiththeintentofdetermininganassignedairpermeancerateofthematerialatthereferencepressuredifference(P)of75Pa.1.2Themethodisintendedtoassessflexiblesheetorrigidpanel-typematerialsusinga1m1mspecimensize.1.3ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Nootherunitsofmeasurementsareincludedinthisstandard.1.4Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
