【摘要】:ThisStandardprovidesperformanceandsafetyrequirementsforhandheldscrewandpipeextractorsthatareintendedspecificallyforremovingbrokenscrews,pipes,bolts,studs,andfittingsfromthreadedopenings.Itisintendedtocoveronlythosedesignsthatrequirestrikingoftheextractortoseatitproperlyinthebrokenpipeorfastenerbeingremoved.ThisStandard,therefore,doesnotcoverdesignsthatdonotrequirestriking,suchasthegroundthreadextractor.TheStandardisintendedtoserveasaguideinselecting,testing,andusingthehandtoolscovered.ItisnotthepurposeofthisStandardtospecifythedetailsofmanufacturing.TheStandardisalsomeanttoserveasaguideindevelopingmanualsandpostersfortrainingpersonnelinsafepractices.ThisStandardmaybeusedasaguidebystateauthoritiesorotherregulatorybodiesintheformulationoflawsorregulations.
